NAME
     tanh -- hyperbolic tangent function

SYNOPSIS

     tanh(double x);

     tanhl(long double x);

DESCRIPTION
     The tanh() function computes the hyperbolic tangent of x.

SPECIAL VALUES
     tanh(]-0) returns ]-0.

     tanh(]-infinity) returns ]-1.
