          const mlibf32 *flt,mlibs32 tap);


     mlibstatus mlibSignalFIRInitS16S16S(void **filter,
          const mlibf32 *flt,mlibs32 tap);


DESCRIPTION
     Each of these functions allocates memory  for  the  internal
     filter  structure and converts the filter coefficients to an
     internal representation.

PARAMETERS
     Each of the functions takes the following arguments:

     filter    Internal filter structure.


     flt       Filter coefficient array.


     tap       Taps of the filter.


RETURN VALUES
     Each of the functions returns  MLIBSUCES  if  successful.
     Otherwise it returns MLIBFAILURE.
