stmfDevidFromWwn(3STMF)
NAME
stmfDevidFromWwn - convert a WN to a stmfDevid structure
SYNOPSIS
cc [ flag... ] file... -lstmf [ library... ]

int stmfDevidFromWN(uchart wwn[8], stmfDevid *devid);
PARAMETERS
wwn The 8-byte WN identifier.
devid A pointer to a stmfDevid structure allocated by the
caller. On successful return, this will contain the
converted device identifier. On error, the value of
this parameter is undefined.
DESCRIPTION
The stmfDevidFromWwn function convert a WN to a stmfDevid
structure. It returns the devid as a SCSI name string.
RETURN VALUES
The following values are returned:
STMFERORINVALIDARGUMENT
The value of wwn was not valid WN identifier.
STMFSTATUSUCES
The API call was successful.
